Violence
Violence Guidelines
You must always engage in non-violent roleplay before an interaction turns to violence.
Citizens must be engaged in escalating Roleplay with one another before escalating violence with one another. This includes brawling, taking of hostages, and robberies.
Before engaging in player vs. player interactions, a scene must unfold. This scene should be sufficiently developed, allowing all involved parties to recognize that violence is imminent.
Participants are encouraged to react and seek cover, as characters might do, during a shootout. The primary objective when initiating engagement should not solely be to eliminate opponents quickly but to create a rich and interesting roleplay scenario.
Players should always prioritize the preservation of one's character's life. Reckless actions, such as running directly towards an opponent, are discouraged.
Bandaging during a shootout is allowed, but participants must engage in roleplay ("ow, that hurt you #$%&%"), and continue to roleplay the injury afterward. After any shootout, all sustained injuries must be fully roleplayed, regardless of whether the character was incapacitated.
RDM and VDM
RDM/VDM on other players, NPC's, or animals for entertainment is not good RP. All violence requires an RP reason. Any attack on another Citizen without a roleplay scenario is not allowed.
